On Sunday, July 26, 2009, many Jesuits and their friends gathered to honor the lives and service of the twenty-three men who celebrated a major anniversary as a Jesuit or as a priest. This Jubilee Mass was held at Immaculate Conception Jesuit Church in New Orleans with the Jesuit Provincial, Very Reverend Mark Lewis, S.J., presiding. Fr. Donald Martin, S.J., one of this year's Jubilarians, proclaimed the Gospel and gave the sermon.
